I live in the ward with my partner Peter and our young family who attend schools in the area. I am an experienced community campaigner and am standing for election to the Vale of Glamorgan County Council so I can be a strong voice for this part of Barry.

As a senior manager in the NHS and a former carer, I am passionate about improving local health and care services. I am school governor and am equally committed to supporting the new schools programme in the area and providing the best learning environment for our children and young people at this crucial time.
