I am Pierre and I lives in the ward of Baruc, and I have a long history of supporting the people of Barry and I am standing for the Vale of Glamorgan and Barry Town Council. I have over 25 years’ experience working with young people in various education setting: schools, youth forum and university. As an educator and mental health practitioner, I am a fervent supporter of diversity, equity, and community development and want to build an even stronger sense of belonging for the ward, joining our strengths and assets to make our voices heard.

Under the current climate of uncertainty, giving people opportunities and creating new ones whilst looking at preserving our roots and the area of outstanding beauty we have around us is one of the many trials I am ready to challenge and support. I am the voice for under-represented groups and will ensure that we, as a ward utilise all our potential for a happier future.

I am often out and about with my dog, looking at what infrastructure/litter/parking issues we may have in the area, do not hesitate to share with me any of your concerns and I will be happy to help finding some solutions.
