We want everyone to have the opportunity for a good job in their local area. That’s why we’re investing in businesses in the Vale. We have:

• created over 1,100 local jobs, 88 apprenticeships and opportunities worth £59 million for local businesses through our school building programme and more through our house building schemes.
• developed a £12 million Economic Growth Fund for the Vale to deliver economic growth; tackle inequality; improve our environment; and create change in the area to benefit all residents, businesses and visitors.
• provided £47.8 million in business support funds for Vale businesses.
• held Town Centre events to boost footfall and help businesses bounce back.
• facilitated meet the buyer events for local small businesses
